We have an array of staff, all of which are highly trained to care for your child.
All staff hold a Paediatric First Aid qualification, and the majority have a food hygiene certificate and have completed safeguarding training.
All staff members undertake a minimum of four days (pro rata) training in each year to ensure they have current

We do also, at times have student placements from the university and colleges in the area, as well as young people on work experience from local schools.

The Ark at Waddington is a preschool in Waddington operates from a village hall, south of the city of Lincoln. The hall is close to the RAF base and the children who attend the setting come from the base and surrounding villages.

The Ark at Waddington is a preschool in Waddington operates from a village hall, south of the city of Lincoln. The hall is close to the RAF base and the children who attend the setting come from the base and surrounding villages.
The setting follows the national framework set down by the government in the Early Years Foundation Framework to provide good quality early childhood education. By working in partnership with parents and carers we aim to provide a stimulating, safe environment where children can explore, experiment and develop into unique people, who are confident and independent, but most importantly are happy and caring individuals.
There has been a playgroup/preschool on this site since the mid-sixties and the present owner took over The Ark at Waddington Preschool in September 2021. Since then there have been many changes affecting the operations of the preschool.
We are registered to take a maximum of 40 children aged from 2 years to 5 years of age. Rooms are set up on a daily basis to cater for the children’s interests and needs.
The Ark at Waddington places great importance on working as a team, not just with our colleagues but with other professionals and with parents. By doing this we feel that all the needs of the children can be met in the best possible way.
